That said, I'd find it hard to give up all together, so maybe for now I'll continue with occasional posts and accept the fact I won't have many readers/followers or comments.
In November I went to visit my sister and mother in Saskatoon - that was an enjoyable break, especially given that the weather was glorious and I was able to spend time with my nephews and niece as well!
School finished in mid-December, then I was thrown into Christmas prep along with shifts at the library, though we did close for 10 days while having our carpets replaced as part of the Christmas break.

The skating photograph is lovely, nearly as much as that of Chloe. :) I love cats actually, so...
Blogging does take up a lot of that thin line between work and pleasure, it can get tiresome at times. Its just so awesome for me to read your blog, I've never felt snow in my life and to read about your life in a far colder climate than mine only makes me more determined to get to a college in North America for undergraduate study, somehow.
At least you have a few dedicated commentators. I have nearly none! :(
And Wolf Hall is a really good read, isn't it? I liked it a lot myself. Have you tried The Enchantress Of Florence? It makes for compulsive, though very indulgent, reading.
