From Chloe and Cleo - October 2008 |
I just managed to capture this with my camera before Cleo jumped down. It's only when they tussle up there that I get really nervous!
Off to work soon - I have a writing related post lined up in my head, just have to find the time to get it out and onto the blog *g*.

Goodness! I would be nervous, too, if they were tussling on the railing like that!
Looking forward to your writing post. :-)
Hahaha...my first thougth when I looked at that picture was - don't jump!!
Love the look of the new blog!
Melissa - yeah, they're crazy girls and Sean assures me they have great balance cause they're so young. But it still drives me crazy, so I make them get down when things get out of hand.
Kelly - you think THAT's bad - last weekend, while we had friends over, Cleo showed off how she plays with her tail while on the railing.
Glad you like the new template :)
Those are brave kitties. Would they drop very far if they fell?
The other day, I was in the yard and turned around to see my 1 year old cat dropping out of a maple tree from about fifteen feet up. I think she planned to climb down but couldn't manage the cliff-like angle. After landing on all four paws, she just sat there for several minutes as if to say, "I planned that. Yes, I definitely did. And don't argue with me!"
Cindy - I think it's about 10 ft or so, though to the right is the couch, so if they aim properly, they'd hit that rather than the floor. Still pretty nerve-wracking, though, but I can't really do much to stop them getting up there!
LOL re your cat and her reaction to dropping from the tree - cats, gotta love 'em!
